Fine print
  • Entry Fees:
    Sat only: $35 + MTBA social licence ($5)
    Sun only: $45 + MTBA racing licence
    Sat & Sun: $75 + MTBA racing licence
    Riders receive a $5 discount per day when they bring marshal/s
  • MTBA racing licence - day $20; annual $80 junior (u19), $110 senior. MTBA day and 12-month membership forms available here.
  • Age is calculated based on what age you will be on 31st Dec 2013. That is not a misprint, and is in keeping with MTBA Rules. For example, you must be 18 or younger on the 31/12/2013 to enter the U19 race on the 7/09/2012.
  • Riders must stay with the same category throughout the season and enter four of the six races to be eligible for a prize (DNF/DNS upon entry still counts towards event total).
  • Categories subject to demand; AM category limited to hard-tail or dual suspension, and single-crown fork.
Safety requirements
  • St John Ambulance will be in attendance.
  • A full face helmet is mandatory & must be securely fastened.
  • All bikes must have front and rear working brakes.
  • Handle bar ends must be securely and firmly plugged so as to prevent injury.
  • MTBA strongly recommends that riders wear protective clothing such as back, elbow, knee & shoulder protection with a rigid surface; thigh padding; shin padding; long pants; long sleeved shirts; full finger gloves.

  • Hobart Bush Cabins discount accommodation for riders during each event,

Was out at the Lea today and I was curious to know if the other tracks used in this series have either B lines or rollable jumps for beginners like myself.

I've updated the results for the Strava Challenges for this month. Get out in the fine weather this weekend and have some fun!
