I unfortunately had my Titus Racer X Carbon 2008 model mountain bike stolen from my Docklands apartment in Melbourne on the 5th - 6th of February. It has been reported to the police and they have it on file with description and serial numbers.
I am sending this email out with a photo attached as well as a pdf flyer in the hope that someone may come across it as it is a very rare bike in Australia with apparently only 3 to 4 of this particular model in the country. The only changes I have made to the bike since the photograph was taken are Ritchey WCS carbon flat handle bars, Odi Rouge grips, Crank brothers 5050 pedal and the tyres, a Geax on the front and a grey Michilen on the rear.
Unfortunately I can't replace this bike as they are simply not available anymore and if they were, being a teacher, I couldn't afford to.
From my experience the mountain bike community is a tight bunch of people and look out for one another on the trails. I hope that the word can be spread around regarding my Titus in the hope it may show up. If by some chance it does please either contact myself at datv@ozemail.com.au or the police officer in charge at Melbourne West Police, Warren Normoyle at warren.normoyle@police.vic.gov.au
Thanks for taking the time to read this and for your help,
David Hulett
